Shall provide strictly vegetarian meals cooked by our Sherpa Staff
from Kathmandu. You may carry biscuits, nuts, pickles, bhujia and
dry fruits etc. The kitchen crew cooks and prepares the food during
the 13 days journey. They cook Continental and Indian dishes most
of the time. Supplies are carried from Kathmandu and some fresh vegetables
and fruits (beans, cabbages, ginger, peas, oranges, apples etc) can
be bought on the way.
Vegetarian food without onions and garlic is catered for those who
opt for it.
But items such as pasta, noodles, rice, roti, bread, canned baked
beans, mushrooms, packet soups are the basic staple food during the
trip.
Fruits like apples, oranges, peaches are available on the way at affordable
price. Mineral water and aerated drinks are also available at most
places.
